When Buse Alpay was in high school it looked like she would be taking a rather traditional career choice. Yet it didn’t take long before her life took the first surprising turn. Today, Buse is a successful BSH customer service technician in Turkey – still not a very common task for a woman.
BSH uses intelligent lighting to save energy, CO2 emissions and costs
At its largest German logistics center in Giengen (Vohenstein warehouse), BSH and Clear Light GmbH renewed the entire lighting system between December 2017 and March 2018. State-of-the-art LED systems were installed in five halls covering an area of more than 45,000 m², reducing annual electricity consumption by around 1,172,000 kWh. This corresponds to savings in electricity costs of around 176,000 euros. At the same time, the CO2 footprint is reduced by around 410 t.
