Siemens demonstrates smart solutions for the Intelligent Kitchen. The centerpiece of the Siemens booth is the Intelligent Kitchen: an environment which helps its users to optimize everyday tasks, enrich their lives and be more sustainable. It consists of an entire (eco-)system of appliances whose design interacts just as perfectly as their digital applications. Flexible control is possible via the Home Connect app or the Siemens Smart Kitchen Dock, just one of the many features that visitors to the trade fair will encounter at the live cooking shows this year.

This year's IFA - the world's leading trade fair for consumer and home electronics - takes place in Berlin, starting on September 1st. To meet local consumers’ needs the Chinese colleagues developed a completely new Zeolith feature for dishwashers, called “Zeolith Storage” and optimized “Zeolith Hygiene”.

Since Noustique’s journey began at BSH’s Corporate Innovation department two and a half years ago, the startup has been very busy further developing the Scent Creator. With this small appliance, a mobile app, and a set of 34 high quality fragrances from Noustique’s partner Puig, a global fragrance business based in Barcelona, users can create their own perfumes at home. BSH has been engaged in research and development related to induction for more than 25 years. The new connected freeInduction Plus cooktop that Siemens presented at IFA works with exceptional induction technology to deliver maximum flexibility. Up to six pots and pans of every shape and size can be heated up simultaneously on the 90-cm-wide surface – without limits anywhere and everywhere on the cooktop.
